From Conflict to Collaboration

From Conflict to Collaboration introduces teams, groups and organizations to the beneficial value of embracing conflict in building healthy team dynamics.  Healthy conflict leads to a higher level of trust among team members which creates buy-in, raises team accountability and boosts performance. This workshop introduces The Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument (TKI), an online assessment tool designed to assess an individual’s communication and behavioral style in conflict situations.Your group will participate in a one or two day interactive workshop where they will learn to differentiate five conflict resolution styles. They will examine the benefits and advantages related to each of these styles and practice a collaborative conflict resolution approach in role play situations.This workshop can be delivered to small and large groups (up to 20).  It is an excellent opportunity to realign team culture and for the group to understand how to be hard on the problem and kind on interpersonal relationships.This one day workshop is available in French and English. For information about this workshop dates, click here

Building Communication Bridges with Style

Building Communication Bridges with Style is a dynamic workshop which provides teams, groups and organizations with an opportunity to build communication bridges and start eliminating interpersonal barriers responsible for workplace conflict.This workshop introduces The Personal Style Indicator (PSI) an online assessment tool which assists in determining the preferred personal communication, behavioral and conflict style of each team member. It will help identify personal orientation and preferences toward people, task, time, stress, and problem solving.Your group will participate in a one or two day interactive learning process where team members discover their personal styles strengths and challenges and gain appreciation for each other’s communication and behavioral style. Participants also develop skills to suspend their style and quickly assess their counterpart’s communication style. This workshop can be delivered to small and large groups (up to 20). It is a powerful beginning to build a respectful and collaborative workplace culture.

Turning Difficult Conversations into Engaging Conversations

Turning Difficult Conversations into Engaging Conversations introduces the participants to the principles of employee engagement which has been widely recognized as a critical ingredient in organizational success.  Indeed, organizations with high engagement scores are the most successful. Since engagement occurs primarily at the employee-manager level, it is critical to enhance the managers’ competence in holding these crucial conversations. This workshop will introduce managers to strategies that enable them to skillfully facilitate effective interaction with employees. They will learn to enter into conversations that will uncover each employee’s unique set of engagement drivers. Your group will participate in a one day interactive workshop where they will learn to enter into conversation based on positive inquiries to insure that each employee is a good fit for the organization and their assigned role, as well as skillfully addressing performance issues.This workshop can be delivered to small and large groups (up to 20). Challenging Fundamental Assumptions to Build Trust and Collaboration introduces participants to a process where as a group they examine the unspoken fundamental assumptions they perpetuate in their work place culture. These assumptions are known to have a direct impact on morale and motivation levels as well as on interpersonal and inter-departmental interactions. This workshop, challenges the participants to become change agents and to consider that workplace culture changes can start at any level of an organization.  They are challenged to create new assumptions and behaviors that will foster trust, commitment, accountability and team work. Your group will participate in a one day interactive workshop where they will reflect on the fundamental assumptions they carry about your organization, examine the impact of those assumptions on interpersonal and inter-departmental interactions and develop a new set of assumptions to support the workplace culture they want to create. This workshop can be delivered to small and large groups (up to 20). Building an Accountable Team

Building an Accountable Team explores the five pillars of highly effective teams.  It is not finance, nor strategy nor technology which brings success to an organization – it is teamwork.  Teamwork remains the ultimate competitive edge of any successful organization. Yet it is as elusive a concept as it has ever been. Through an on-line assessment tool, The Five Dysfunctions of a Team; team assessment we will provide objective measures of a team’s trust level, comfort with conflict, commitment, focus on accountability, and attention to team results. Through the assessment scores and coaching conversations your team will discover its opportunities for growth and development. Your team will participate in a two day interactive workshop where they will examine their team’s profile, explore how team members’  behavioral and communication styles impact their team cohesiveness, and be provided with opportunities to experience a new level of mindfulness and conversations which lead to enhanced trust and commitment. This workshop can be delivered to small and large teams (4 to 10). It is an excellent opportunity to learn the direct relationship between building trust, collaborative conflict resolution, team commitment, accountability and team results. This two day workshop is available in French and English.
